
Last week, more than 1700 science education researchers attended the bi-annual ESERA conference, the conference of the European Science Education Research Association, in Copenhagen – Denmark. Climate Change and Sustainability Education were central themes in the conference programme with plenty of contributions on Climate Change Education research and research on Education for Sustainable Development.
The Engaging-team already in January submitted a symposium proposal on Climate Change Education and Critical Thinking. Next two the Engaging test instrument and the CT tutorials that were presented by Magdalena and Mieke, Mathias Fasching presented research on teacher attitudes towards climate change teaching. Gesche introduced the seminar, and Johanna Kranz acted as discussant. She formulated thoughtful feedback and challenging questions for future work!
